so yea, it's monday. back to school. it was a pretty easy day. i have a midterm on wednesday, though, in public speaking class. but some people in another class took it today and said it was supa easy. that's good. i also have an english paper due monday that i have no idea what to do on. oh well.
our spring break was supposed to be this week but now we only have friday off. and we end classes at noon on thursday because we opened late one day during the snow. so yea, i'm not going thursday. let's do something wednesday night and thursday night.
so. my weekend. friday night, elizabeth and i went to the mall and didn't talk to each other for like 30 minutes. then we went to caitlyn's house where there was apparently a lovebird party going on. we were lovebirds with caitlyn on the recliner couch. christine, austin (well he lives there), and ben and his gf were there.
saturday i went to scott's and started drinking at 4pm. pathetic, i know. we went to brooks' house around 5 and started playing music around 5:30 until about 6:30. then scott and i went back to his house and tried to find something to do. we ended up just going to jon and stacy's place, which was pretty fun, actually.
sunday, elizabeth and i went to the mall, then caitlyn's for like .5 seconds, then arielle's house, then back to her house where she was locked out. she drove my car around the outskirts of rocky mount/nashville. she did pretty well.
the finger-circle game is sweeping the nation. beware.

yea. so. had a psychology test this week. i think i did bad. but at least we have 3 tests in there rather than just a midterm and a final. i have 2 more chances to bring it up if i did bad.
i was bummed out because i couldn't go see Hey Mercedes tuesday night due to possible bad weather conditions. turns out, due to problems with their van, they had to cancel that date as well as the one after that. so i would have driven to chapel hill for nothing.
mtv has yet again put out a reality show that has me hooked like a junky. til death do us part: carmen and dave. wow. i love that show.
has anyone else heard the DangerMouse album, 'the grey album'? he's a DJ, and he combined the Beatles' White Album with Jay-Z's the Black Album. and it's hot. very hot.
someone have a party this weekend.

valentine's day turned out to be damn fun. elizabeth and i picked up arielle and we went to raleigh. we had already planned to go to raleigh, but open britt and brandi's request, we went to a v-day house show. we didn't know anyone there for a while, then britt, brandi, and their 2 supa hot friends, brigid and caroline, showed up and made things less awkward.
Stage 3 Division played first. they weren't bad, and they were nice. then the Art of Fiction played, my favorite band of the night, although they left really fast before i got to ask them for merch. thennn it was Department of Homeland Security, who this guy, Scott, sang for. we had spoken briefly to him and his 2 bandmates before the show and they were really nice. i bought a shirt + cd. then Let's Start A Rumor played, but we were in the house during their set. then Black Castle played. the bassist was the best. we had to make it back to rocky mount by 11:30 and we left the house at 10:45. we made it. needless to say, i was rollin. my camera died in the car, so no pictures. tear.
last night, i stayed up late hoping that it would be announced that i didn't have class due to snow/ice. this didn't happen and i went to class. eh.
Hey Mercedes tomorrow night? perhaps.

um. school and shit. yeah. psychology midterm coming up next week. a midterm in february, wtf. it's going to be hard too. somebody be my study buddy.
i played drums at church last night. the little kids clapped their hands and danced around and sang along. neat i guess.
so apparently i've had an 18-year writer's block. i've been writing shit down alot. maybe i actually have things to write about now? i don't know, but i've been putting words together alot lately. i have a few things started, one complete song.
i have an informative speech due next week in public speaking. i haven't even picked a topic yet. i think i'm going to do Heroin. not do heroin. but do it for the speech. yea. i don't know yet.
valentine's day. yeah. people tend to act more depressed around valentine's day, unless, of course, they have a valentine. i don't want to sound whiney, but it would be nice to have one. not just a valentine, actually. a significant other would be supa.
